Principal
Sam Cronin has served as Principal at Arkin Digital Health since 2021, leading the Israel-based activities with his expertise in digital health venture capital and healthcare. He is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and fostering outreach within the local healthcare ecosystem.
Before joining Arkin, Sam headed the digital health vertical at the UK Israel Tech Hub, where he provided boutique consulting to healthcare multinationals such as AstraZeneca, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Elsevier, and the NHS.
Originally from England, Sam holds a BSc in Pharmacology, an MSc in Biosensing Devices, and a PhD in Biotechnology. Before relocating to Israel, he worked in corporate finance, conducting financial forensic investigations in London. Sam is also a Foundation Fellow in medical innovation at UCL (UK), a guest lecturer at several Israeli universities, and has served as a judge and mentor for numerous healthtech startups in various accelerator programs.
